Meet our Team
Carey doesn't remember not having
animals in her life. Growing up in Nova
Scotia, she developed a love for them all,
big, small, wild, and aquatic. After
graduating with a degree in psychology,
she quickly realized how much she
wanted to spend her life working with
animals and returned to school,
graduating from Seneca College and
becoming a Registered Veterinary
Technician in 2000.
She has spent the majority of the past 20 years working as an RVT in general practice. In the the past few years with a desire to continue to expand her knowledge, she branched out and has worked both at a not-for-profit veterinary hospital that is heavily involved with rescue organizations as well as in a specialty practice in oncology.

She is happy to have recently joined our
team at Animal Dental Care where she is
rapidly expanding her knowledge of
veterinary dentistry while enjoying the
amazing relationships she is developing
with both our patients and clients.
Carey is kept busy in her free time with her family which includes her 3 children, husband and 2 cats, Pekoe and Willy. Pekoe is in his very senior years of life and definitely rules their home. As a family they enjoy hiking and travelling the world and very much look forward to their next vacation.
We are very fortunate to have Carey join our team as our assistant office manager as her deep compassion and kindness is truly wonderful.
